Software inventory displays incorrect information

All,

We have removed Adobe AIR in control panel - programs - programs and features, but MDE is still reporting that it is installed on this device. How does MDE determine that a application is on a device. Could it be that a deinstall still has left some reg keys or other stuff and that MDE then concludes it is still on a device?

How much time has passed since you uninstalled the software? If more than 24 hours has passed,

you could try to to check this table in Advanced Hunting. It should list what MDE detected on the device from said software.
