PAC vs Proxy

Hi everyone... Would someone kindly put me right regarding whether MD-ATP can use a PAC file or, because of winHTTP I have to configure a connection to a Proxy Server Address.

Specifically, this is to enable devices (win10 ent), through the MD-ATP Service (Sense) to break out to the internet to onboard and report telemetry thereafter. Currently, we can successfully route directly through a zscaler proxy configured with the service DNS exceptions no problem (named proxy or configured through netsh winhttp cmd), we cannot through the a proxy.pac file assigned to the System Account but unsure if this is because a PAC isn't supported over winHTTP or if we have another issue.

For anyone else who visits this community with the same question, we raised a support ticket and were told that MD-ATP does not support PAC files at this time... Obviously check with MS for the latest position.
