is Microsoft for defender supported in all windows 10 versions ?

We have a high number of endpoints showing up are unhealthy. These endpoints have few characteristics in common. Most of them are persistent VDIs and Desktop. They all have older windows built such as (10.0 (17763). This makes me wonder if they are even supported for Microsoft defender for endpoints ?
