Rename a custom tag in MDA

Can you rename a custom app tag that you created in  MDA? If yes, how?

Theres no convential way to rename tags within Defender for Cloud Apps

But you could assign a new tag using a policy based on the old tag

but assigning a new tag won't remove the existing tag even through policy.

Unfortunately not, it will be a manual process

This would be something ideal for the product team at Microsoft to investigate as renaming tags without having to apply them over and over again would assist security teams
