Receive an email alert when a D365 CE privilege was created, changed, deleted, or assigned

Hello everyone. I hope everybody is going to be well.

 

I am looking for a solution to be alerted when one of my analysts makes a change in privileges of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. I was very close to achieving this, setting D365 app, but I can't find the exact action which represents a privileged event as described in the subject.

 

Tell me if need any other additional information.

 

Any help will be much appreciated!

Hi @Douglas_Henrique,

 

Are you looking to accomplish this with Defender for Cloud Apps? We will ingest audited activity from D365 but being able to alert on it will depend on what we are getting from the provider.  Usually, we will break down activities by type.

 

To see what's available you a search like this in Defender for Cloud Apps activity log could do, then look for the activity types you are interested in.

Or are you specifically looking for PIM events?

 

Perfectly, @Keith_Fleming. That is exactly the solution I tried before coming here, but I am not a specialist in D365, so finding the exact activity you describe became a challenge for me.

Do you have any suggestions? Or someone could complement that solution you introduce? Perhaps someone from the Dynamics team.

@Douglas_Henrique I would recommend opening up a support ticket in this case, that way we can make sure the activity is audited and available and we can get someone from dynamics team to confirm.
