Custom Initiatives don't appear in Regulatory Compliance?

Microsoft

Hi all, I was certain you could take an Initiative already defined in Azure Policy and add it to the Regulatory Compliance screen. But when I go to add a Custom Initiative, it walks me through the assignment process...the Initiative is already assigned. But even if I assign it (again), it doesn't appear alongside the other built-in regulatory initiatives, even though on the "Add Custom Initiatives" screen it says "After adding the policy initiative, it will be listed as a recommendation in the Recommendations blade, and to have it added in the Regulatory compliance dashboard."

Was I mistaken that we could do this, or am I just missing something? Obviously we could just look at Compliance in Azure Policy instead, but surfacing this info within Defender for Cloud would be easier for the CSPM team.
