Dear community,
I'm currently working for a client, where automatic labeling by MCAS is in place. What I see now is, that labeled documents are modified by "SharePoint App", and a new version is created. This is very confusing for the user, as it breaks the "user" history:
Is this expected behavior?

Yes, option is enabled.
Let me precise: That behavior only happens in SharePoint Online, when applying labels to on-prem documents through scanner, metadata remains as expected.
