These details would be present in the meeting invite which the staff receives on their calendar. Or you can visit Bookings -> Calendar -> click on that particular appointment and see all the answers to the custom fields entered by the customer.
I don't see custom fields on the meeting invite or the customer detail page. However if I click on the calendar pop up like the last one you suggested, I do see it. Sort of weird it's not everywhere!
