Send to the same email address but not to 365 Outlook inbox

Hi,

 

We're trying to use Bookings at my workplace to simplify scheduling timeslots. Everyone in our firm has Office 365 accounts with outlook inboxes, however we use a separate outlook that is independent of Office 365, but the accounts are under the same @outlook email addresses. 

 

The problem is that when people register, the confirmation emails are being sent to their 365 outlook inboxes instead of our separate mail system.

 

Is there a setting I can change so it still sends to the same email address but doesn't go to the 365 outlook inbox? We can't direct people to check an inbox they never use, otherwise Bookings will be useless for our purposes.

If you can forward the M365 inboxes to the 'regular' Outlook mailboxes, you solve your problem. However, the problem is probably with your mail config. You cannot have a single address for 2 mailboxes so the @outlook addresses are probably not the same as the M365 ones. Probably there is a difference in domain name?
Can you give an example?
