Receiving notification for staff

it seems that it is possible to able the staff to receive an email notification whenever a booking is assigned to him. However, I've tried several time to make a dummy appointment and i never received any notification. any clue of what I am missing? i've enabled the check box as the picture below.

Make sure that you have selected your name for the specific service. For that, Go that service>select service>Tick your name in the right hand column (list of staff).
