MS Booking tracking of no appearance instead of cancellation

Brass Contributor
Wish there is an option to easily identify NO APPEARANCE instead of featuring cancellation, for purpose to identify cancellations and no appearance, for purpose to easily action and differentiate cancellation from no appearance. (e.g. no appearance subject to fees).

Thanks for the feedback. We don't have a feature for this yet.
Also, Bookings wouldn't know if an end customer actually attended the appointment. This will be the responsibility of the staff member to capture this data point.
One way to possibly accomplish this might be to use a custom field. Later, you can take a TSV export to see count of all no-appearances by pivoting on that custom field.

Thanks.

@altamish My organization would like to have a way to track no shows as well. I think that if we try to add a custom field for tracking this the client will see it when they schedule their appointment and may try entering data there when it's meant to be an internal use only field. Additionally, the custom fields we already use are heavily text based and we would have to extract from a long text string. Not impossible, but also not user friendly. We take bookings for multiple locations and want to consider no shows as a factor in our decisions for staff density at specific locations. If we cancel the appointment all of the data is lost. If we track the no shows manually we are looking at either significant data entry to capture the appointment details or losing them.
