Our organization (~1200 users) has been slowly rolling out Microsoft Teams the last few weeks. One thing we've noticed is if we allow each person to create their own Bookings calendar, it creates a new entry into our GAL for them. So now in Outlook, Teams, etc... our non-tech users get easily confused on which name to message John.Smith vs John Smith booking calendar.
We'd like to allow our users to create their own Booking calendar and services w/o creating these GAL entries. Obviously we can hide each user from the GAL but it's very time consuming to do so.
We noticed Microsoft is using their @onmicrosoft.com address for these calendar.
Can someone help me connect the dots on how to allow our users to create their own calendar and services without creating a GAL nightmare?
