How to change the booking status that is automatically received by customer upon booking?

Whenever a booking is created, customer will receive an auto confirmation signaling the booking as accepted, can this be changed to a custom message acknowledging the booking reception but only issue the booking status email after shop owner has review it?

We need pretty much the same thing. I need to remove the word Confirmed from the subject line of the automated email or it is unusable for us.
