I have a room that I would like people to able to book tables in. There are 5 tables in the room, and they can book all of them or one of them for whatever time frame they'd like.

 

Is it possible for me to 1) allow bookers to book for a custom amount of time that they choose on the booking site, 2) disconnect my personal calendar from the booking site so that people can book on a separate calendar that represents just the room's schedule, 3) allow bookers to book tables separately so that if one table is booked for the room for a given timeframe, then another table can still be booked by the same or a different group, and 4) request custom information from the fields shown to the booker on the booking site?

You might be able to achieve most of these by creating a booking calendar where each table is added as a "staff" member that is bookable.

1. Changing the duration is currently not supported but you might be able to get a somewhere close by creating different services for different durations. You can select the same set of tables created as "staff" under these services and their availability will be shared across.
2. Under each service, you can select which staff members are able to provide that service. You can uncheck yourself so that the booking will be made only against one of the available tables.
3. You can create a "staff" member for each for each of the tables to make them individually bookable. Do you already have resource/room/equipment mailboxes created for these tables? Note that Bookings does not support getting free/busy information from Outlook for resource mailboxes today and you will have to create them as Guest staff. However, availability information within Bookings will be respected and a table will be available to book only if there are no other bookings for the same duration,
4. Are you looking at showing custom information specific to the selected table? This is not available as of today but depending on the length of the info, you might be able to adjust the "staff" name to include some of this info. You can also add descriptions at a service level that will be shown on the booking page.
