Client does not receive booking confirmation

I am new to office 365, and I am trying out the bookings for booking meetings with clients.

 

My problem:

When a client (no microsoft user) enters the booking page, and makes a booking, he does not receive a confirmation in his mailbox.  So he has no clue on whether the meeting in succesfully booked, and he can not reschedule when necessary.

 

How can I change this?

Did you check using the message trace tool if there is any failed attempt to send the email to the customer? My guess is that the confirmation email was generated, but the delivery to the customer failed and you might be able to see the reason in the message trace.
