Cancelled an Event, but People were still able to Sign Up

Hi there,

 

We cancelled an event, but we were still receiving new bookings from individuals despite cancellation.

 

The attendees also did not receive the email to inform them of the cancellation (as in the one that has the subject that starts with 'Canceled:'). The event also reappears on the calendar after a couple of days.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?
