Bookings - Using a O365 group as a staff member

My client would like to reuse an existing O365 group as a staff member to be booked.  We set this up, adding the O365 group as the only staff member. It works well except that it doesn't block out the O365 group calendar.  In other words, all time is available to book even if there an appointment in the O365 group calendar.  Is there a way for Bookings to recognize and block off the appointments in the O365 group calendar?  Maybe need to sync up the O365 group calendar to the Bookings calendar?  Or maybe some other suggestions?
