Bookings Appointment Duration Limitations?

There was a recent change that no longer lets me set service details for booking to my choosing.  Example of current service bookings before the limitation: Service event, Thursday July 13th 5:30pm to Thursday July 20th 7am.  Now I can only book all day events and can no longer set the time range for a week long service.  Due to the limitation on setting the time, events can no longer over lap.  I use this for IT On-Call services and need to be able to continue booking like the example above.

Found out from support that the issue with being unable to set the times on Bookings calendar items is a known issue that the MS engineers are currently working on. I was told the timeline is 4 weeks until resolution.
