Bookings always sending customer notifications

We have created a calendar successfully. And created services too. Yet we want to avoid the customer receives email notifications on create or change and not allow them to manage their bookings.
Yet this does not work despite the fact we deactivate the

  • notification ticks on Booking page level
  • notification ticks on Service level,
  • removed the business contact email
  • deleted all reminders on service level

I still get confirmation mails with the option to cancel the booking - sent to my personal email - that i enter as mandatory field in the service booking form - anything i need to do to force the "check boxes" to be synced to the "calendar ???

Did you find a solution to this as we have the same issue?
Antonio , i had a discussion with MS support on this and the service is working as designed . It clearly states that confirmation mails are sent in any case.

Ticket resolution details:
As confirmed during out meeting, at this time it's not possible to disable the confirmation email by using the regular Bookings settings. To workaround this limitation, you can remove the Customer Email field and create a new Text field that will stop the confirmation email from being delivered to the user. - alternative is to build a powerAPP that handles a different flow
Alright, we removed it and used our connector for sending emails with Power Automate.
Running into the same issue. We have to reassign internal staff, and every time we do (even if we don't change times), a notification is sent to the customer which confuses them.

To work around you can do the following when editing an appointment.

1. Select More Options.
2. Check "Don't send custom an email confirmation".

The only problem with this is that you will want to uncheck it before cancelling or changing a time. Strange behavior overall though....
