Appointment on calendar not viewable / bookable on client bookings page

Using New Bookings, I can schedule a new group event for 30 participants (single session, specific day and time) via the calendar.  It will be viewable and bookable in the client booking page.  If I try to schedule an individual session on a specific day and time via the calendar, it will show in the staff calendar but will not appear on the client booking calendar (despite selecting the viewable setting).  The only way individual sessions are viewable & bookable in the booking page is if I go in through the service view, and set up weekly, recurring appointments ...which doesn't work for our part-time, variable schedule staffing.


This makes no sense.  How do I fix it?
