Copper Contributor

Dear all,

Recently, I registered 1 account Office 365 trial to experience O365 E3 version before bought it, I create a sharepoint site, upload some document and share with somebody, both the same and diffrence trial domain & gmail also. The share function working well, but email notification seem to be getting issue as below. Please help to advise me.

PS: I search some conversation get the same my issue and they advise ask recipient admin unblock some policies and mechanisms that block my Office 365 email address and directly contact the recipient’s admin for support. I'm IT person and I believe there is no any specific policy that block my trial domain.

That's the default message you get when the sender's IP is blocked. Which should not happen if the sender is O365, but oh well :) Open a support case and report it, nothing else you can do.

@alecsu2017 I believe MS has made some changes and you can no longer send emails from an email address.

Add and verify a domain and you should be able to send emails with that email address.

i figured this from experiencing the same issues with multiple tenants.

@DeepakRandhawa yes same with me. I am preparing migration from G-Suite to Office365 but unfotunately we can not email to ourside party.  There is return error : Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.

I have try to sending email via OWA with three diferent ISP provider, and still no luck.

I think I have to switch back to G-Suite.

I have started to get this error when sending emails from my Hotmail account on Outlook since this morning although there were no issues up to yesterday evening. Similar is happening with another computer also which I just setup for Outlook with Hotmail account.

Appreciate if someone can provide any help here.

@Anand_Dua same here since this morning... all emails rejected.

it does work fine when sending from outlook website. just not the app.

any help appreciated.

@gilou- I have just noticed the same issue that you have mentioned from about a couple of hours ago - does anyone have any answers/help, please

I have the same issue - can send emails through in a browser but immediately bounces back when trying to send via the Windows 10 mail app or MS Outlook 2016 which has been happening since this morning.

I've tried to remove my account from outlook account settings and add it back in but to no avail :(

I'm having the same issue as of this morning.  Emails sent from other devices (my iphone, ipad) are working, but anything from my PC using the same email addresses are bounced back as failed sends.

I have the same problem. Just spent all morning trying to fix it. Emails are sending fine from iPhone and website email but not through Windows 10 app. Keep getting the emails returned with the same message : “Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.“
"Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it."
Same thing happens here since tonight when I sent hotmail from Outlook 365.

Same issue started a few hours ago for me. The below is what I have received from every email I send via the Mail app on Windows 10. Using same mail app but sending from gmail and organisation account I have no issues. I have also attempted to send emails to a variety of domains.

Email from browser and iPhone work fine. Have uninstalled and reinstalled app, along with removed outlook account and added back again. No success.

*Note: have used asterisks to protect recipient email, email was typed correctly in original attempt*

Every message that I have been sending out for the past hour has been returned with that error.

After finally getting through to someone on Microsoft support live chat, they've advised that they're aware of the issue and are in the process of resolving it:

Thank you for letting us know about this problem Alistair. Actually an ongoing issue at the moment and our Reasearch Engineers are up on fixing this issue. This may take around a maximum of 24 to be fixed. If this issue has already been fixed, you might be notified via email. Okay? :) I deeply apologize about the inconvenience with regards to this problem. Please bear with us.

please can you update this group when the solution is posted and I have the same problem which started on Tuesday - Hotmail account being rejected by company 365 email servers

@MikeT007 I believe they've already resolved the issue as I'm now able to successfully send emails from my hotmail account using MS Outlook 2016 and the Windows 10 app which I wasn't able to do before.

thanks I will try and check later when i get back to my office

Yes this is correct, the problem was fixed yesterday later in the day
