Word works fine though <No installed product keys detected>

When I run "OSPP.VBS /dstatus" the result shows no keys but everything is working. I'm using Microsoft 365 (16.0.13801.20288) 64-bit on Windows 10 20H2. What does this mean? Subject line says "Word works fine" but it's all Office 365 applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Why do the applications work even though there's no key detected? I've looked at a few computers and see this as well.

Your Apps for Enterprise suite is licensed via your M365 subscription so your activation would come from there. I'm not sure if you should expect a product key to appear but I'll test that out myself. As long as you have a license for Office via M365 then you're licensed and activated.

@SeanMcAvinue  Thanks. I know how to assign the license but we've had some odd issues here. I don't want to rehash those issues but it *seemed* to be related to licenses and I just wanted to understand this detail.
