Microsoft Office was experiencing issues, prompting me to initiate an update. However, I encountered an error message indicating that the update couldn't proceed. The Microsoft website advised me to perform a reinstallation of Office 365.
Following their guidance, I successfully uninstalled Office 365 using the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant Tool. However, upon attempting to reinstall it, I consistently encountered the 0-1018(0) Error. To address this, I followed Microsoft's instructions to disable the click-to-run feature in services, then rebooted my system.
Subsequently, I proceeded to install the latest version of Windows 10 22H2, an upgrade from the 2019 Windows 10 version 1909. Miraculously, the installation of Office proceeded without a hitch.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Could there be an underlying issue with Windows 10 version 1909 affecting Office 365's functionality, or was this simply a fortunate stroke of luck?
