Office365 Legal hold

Hi All,

We are going to degrade the Office365 license from E3 to E1 ,We have the legal hold at the Office365 level.
Does it impact to user if we degrade the Office365 license from E3 to E1?

If yes, what will be the impact?

You cannot use legal hold with E1 licenses, at minimum you need Exchange Online Plan 2 or equivalent plan.
