Office Stuck Getting List of Content Types

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone run into an issue when using Office 2019 & 365 and saving back to SharePoint and OneDrive where the message “getting a list of content types” shows for a while then “getting content type definition” before finally saving?

No issues with connection speed etc. Saving directly to OneDrive with the office upload setting works fine but frustrating when going through office apps themselves

If you can reliably reproduce this, open a support case.
Seen this issue and was resolved by removing OneDrive fully from PC. Then download latest version, install and resync folders.

Also would recommend running an office quick repair from control panel.
