Is it possible to have a master list of options on Microsoft Forms?
For example, we have 5 or more forms with the same question and the same options. We need to update the options constantly and we'd prefer to make sure all the forms are updated with the same options. Is it possible?
Thanks,
John

In Microsoft Forms, there isn't a built-in feature to create a centralized or master list of options that can be automatically synced across multiple forms. However, there are a couple of alternative approaches you can consider to achieve a similar result:
1. Use Choice-based Questions: Instead of manually updating the options in each form, you can use choice-based questions in Microsoft Forms. When creating a multiple-choice or dropdown question, you can specify the available options directly in the question settings. This way, if you need to update the options, you can edit the question in one form, and then copy and paste the updated question to the other forms. This method ensures consistency in the options across multiple forms.
2. Use Microsoft Excel: If you have a large number of forms with the same question and options, you can leverage Microsoft Excel to manage the options centrally. You can create a worksheet in Excel that contains the question and options, and then use the Excel data to populate the forms. Whenever you need to update the options, you can update the Excel worksheet, and then manually update the question options in each form based on the updated Excel data.
Although these methods require some manual effort to update the options in each form, they provide a way to ensure consistency across multiple forms. Additionally, you can consider using Microsoft Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow) or Microsoft Graph API to automate the process of updating the options, but it would require more advanced programming and customization.
Remember to regularly review and update the options in each form to maintain consistency and accuracy.

@John Gruber What I mean is apply the option in 1 question, and use the copy method to duplicate the same in other forms. as shown in the screenshot below.
