I noticed today that attachments in a list we use for collaboration are downloading instead of opening in the native browser. I saw a solution in another thread to add the qualifier ?web=1 to the end of the end of the URL, which works, but is not an acceptable solution for my users.
We tested this in IE, Chrome, and Edge - same results.
Documents in the libraries we use for collaboration are still opening in the native browser, except in Edge. This may be due to us having an old version of Edge, but I worry that this is a change Microsoft is implementing. This would defeat the entire purpose of Office 365 for us.
Is this an intended change? Can I automate adding the qualifier to the attachment URL?
