Can anyone help me with this. I have a new laptop and all the links that I set up to open files (mainly jpg or jpeg files) from my Powerpoint presentations are opening the files in the wrong application (Paint Shop Pro rather than Windows Photo Viewer). I have Windows Photo Viewer set up as the default app to open jpegs etc. on my system but Powerpoint seems to have its own ideas. I can't see a way to tell Powerpoint which app to use.
In the Insert Object dialog box, select Create from file. Click Browse, and in the Browse dialog box, browse to and then select the Excel workbook that contains the information that you want to insert, and then click OK. In the Insert Object dialog box, select Link and then click OK.
