I am testing out a DLP policy and I can't seem to get it to work. I setup a policy for Sharepoint, Exchange, Teams, One drive, etc. I setup a rule for "Low Content of US Financial Data" detected and added US Social Security Number. For now I have it configured in Test mode.
To test this out, I uploaded a file to One Drive with a social security number in it. I also shared this file. In addition, I sent a chat message in teams to another user with a social security number.
When I go to the DLP activity log I am not seeing any activity. Does anyone know why this is happening?
