Copper Contributor

Hi All,

Please kindly help, I want to edit user information for office365 at Azure AD but I can't do that.

Actualy my AD Azure and AD on-premise is sync but my AD on-premise is damaged so now just my AD Azure is active.

What I can do to edit user office365 that source it from Windows server AD?Untitled.jpg

Where is adconnect client located?

I would suggest to disable the sync making the users cloud only! Now you can edit the users and when ad is up and running, enable ad connect and users will be soft matched!

Agree, while you have the synchronization you will not be able to modify user properties in Azure AD...befor disabling the synchronization I would recommend to review the side effects it can cause in your organization....for instance, we don't know if you have a hybrid setup for e-mail and if that's the case, you should not disable the syncrhonization...by the way, best here is to fix the "damage" in your local AD

Yes , of course! Fixing AD is probably your number on priority, but if you expect this to take up a lot of time and user properties needs to be changed , disable sync as described above is is the approach!
