I can open excel or word. I mostly use excel. The apps open without an issue.
The problem starts when I click in a cell or want to start typing. There is absolutely no response to anything I do. It seems, I have to click on my user name in the upper right corner that is near the minimize, maximize and close buttons. I have to click on my name with each click or typing.
This appears to be PC related, as I don't have this issue on my Mac. I have two PCs, and it is the same on both.
Apps are updated. It occurs on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
This is incredibly frustrating. I am not working efficiently. I have been uploading spreadsheets and word docs to Google drive so I can work.
