Again .. Onenote gets installed without asking .... how to uninstall?

Any suggestions how to get rid of onenote on my W10?  it gets installed without consent, and doesn't show up in the list with apps to uninstall.

The OneNote for Windows 10 app is pre-installed and ready to use on all editions of Windows 10. If you're on a personal computer you should be able to remove it, if not on personal computer I suggest you reach out to your IT administrator.
Hi Christian .. appreciate your reply .. but apparently NOT able to remove it as it is now hard-baked into MSF 365. Cant remove it without removing word, excel etc .... Gets pushed with MSF 365 updates. Back to the good old (dark) days of forcing apps down to users'??

I think MSF did well past years, but this forcing of so so aps should stop.
Well, I can remove it from "apps" within my personal W10. You must be running on a company owned computer or you are confusing the OneNote W10 app with OneNote desktop app? (which can be installed with Office). Surely you must be able to remove OneNote desktop and not all other Office products while doing that? Can't verify, but simply do not use it if being forced. Maybe check with https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us where you have MS folks.

Hi,

thanks for the reply and links. It is the Onenote version that comes automatically with Microsoft 365. And on a personal PC, so no restrictions.

I spoke with the MSF support team. Indeed cant be removed. just like Word, Powerpoint, Publisher it cant be removed individually. Office or nothing.

The difference between other Office products and Onenote is just that it is so "in your face" : after updates it activates all kind stuff that you need to disable again - start-up service "send to one note, outlook plug-in (?), new folder in my docs, icon in my taskbar etc .
