Unreadable TINY font size Outlook 16.69 & 16.70 on M1 Mac when composing

Copper Contributor

With 16.69 and 16.70 Outlook on Mac (M1), when composing a message/reply/fwd, I am "seeing" the body frame open up with SUPER TINY font size.
This also happens if I open an existing calendar event.

Is this "feature" something that can be controlled via a setting somewhere?

See attached imaged for example.

Thanks!

Still the same with 16.71 (23012902).

From the past. Maybe worth investigating the links:

If you have updated Outlook for Mac 2016 or 365 to 15.22 and are squinting to see tiny fonts when you Reply or Forward and comment to email, below is a temporary fix. This was driving me nuts on my MacBook Pro retina. I could barely see the text it was rendered so small.

I've same problem with Office 365 15.22 and OS 10.11.5. MacBook Pro retina.

I can read an incoming mail fine - the fonts are appropriate size on screen. But doing a Reply, or a Forward with comments, the displayed screen fonts are super tiny in the pane. Not readable. Even though the text is to be formatted at say 14pt, and it shows that in the ribbon, the screen rendering is maybe 6pt.

I trashed the Outlook application, then launched this "updater" and 15.19.1 was installed. This seems to be the temporary fix: support.microsoft.com/.../3134241
