Unable to access Groups from account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com

Iron Contributor

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to access the O365 Groups from the URL https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/r#/applications. But, I do not see the Groups icon here and when i try to browse the URL - https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/r#/groups directly, i am getting an error telling - "This functionality is not enabled or not available". I am the tenant admin.

The same URL is working in my other developer tenant. Can you please help me with what setting i am missing or what is the issue here.

Thanks & Regards,

Bhanu

Are you sure you are logged in as the admin account? Generally speaking, you can disable access to the Groups page by configuring the settings here: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/GroupsManagementMenuBlade/General

However, those don't apply to admins.

Hello @Vasil Michev , Thanks for the details provided. Yes, I have logged in as Global Admin. But, was still not able to see Groups tile in account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com .

I will try once again with the settings provided and provide the update here.

Thanks & Regards,

Bhanu

@bhanu chintha were you able to access "My groups" as a global admin? I have the same issue too!
