Plan for Public Facing Website in Office365

Bronze Contributor

Office365 used to support Public Facing website, which we could show a basic website and manage it through Office365. This feature stop supporting last year and it is supported for those who already using it and this will be stopped soon.

I am wondering is there any new plan to support this feature or suggest new way to regain access to public facing website? So far, the only solution is through payed third-party website providers.

No plans to have this feature again in Office 365, so you have to follow suggested aproach: use a third party web hoster

From the Office 365 Message Center:

Published December 9th, MC88504

Reminder: SharePoint Online Public Websites are going away

"..In January 2017, we will have a process in place allowing you to postpone the removal of your SharePoint Online public website. We will communicate again in January, via Message Center, with more details."

Same info can be found on:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3027254/information-about-changes-to-the-sharepoint-online-...

Anyone seen the info on how to postpone this? Nothing on the Message Center.

It seems that you should have registered or applied to this process in order to get the info on how to postpone?
