Users in our organization cannot send email to our group email address for our education department. They get an error that they do not have permissions to send to the address. How can we make the group available to "send to" for the entire organization as well as outside senders? Thank you!
By default, everyone within the organization can email Groups, so it looks like an admin placed some restrictions in your case. Best check with your IT support team. They can amend the group delivery settings via PowerShell, including allowing external users to email the group.
