Office 365 write back for hybrid environment

Dear All, I have a hybrid environment 

the problem when I create a shared mailbox or office 365 group it is not shown to on-prem users 

in the outlook address book as an example 

I have Office365 groups and dynamic groups I have azure security groups would

it be safe to do the writeback option in the azure ad sync tool?

also i m using SharePoint online and Microsoft teams 

what are the pros and cons

That's the expected behavior. Sync is one-way only, from on-premises to Azure AD. There are only very few attributes that ever sync back, as for objects you have to enable additional features such as the Group writeback one: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/hybrid-deployment/set-up-office-365-groups
