Office 365 Groups template based deletion policy

Is it possible to apply deletion policy for all the future Office 365 groups? just like other site templates. if its in roadmap when can we expect this?

Not sure about this one...but just bear in mind Groups is built on top of Azure AD, EXO and SPO so such a deletion policy should consider these three elements adding @Christophe Fiessinger @Tony Redmond
