I know in Office 365 mail flow between Office 365 and internet doesn't need any connector, it goes automatically.
I would like to restrict receiving emails (from internet to my Office 365) to a specific IP range. For example, allowing emails coming from one specific smart host only to my Office 365.
Currently i'm doing this by creating a mail rule that deleted all messages (Sender is located: outside the organization) with exception of the range of allowed IPs (smart host IPs).
The problem in this scenario is: if I get a Meeting Request from external user and forward it to someone else inside my company it will send to him as it is coming from the external user so this meeting request will be catch by that mail rule and will be deleted.
Is there a way to configure the (internet to Office 365) connector in Office 365 ?

SolutionYes, connectors should do fine, read for example here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/mail-flow-best-practices/use-connectors-to-configure-mail-...
