Exclude certain groups from Microsoft 365 group expiration policy

Hi,

We are about to implement Microsoft 365 group expiration policy and it's unclear what the possibilities are if we have certain teams we want to exclude and make sure are not deleted.

Will archiving the Team prevent it from being deleted? It's contradicting in the documentation.

"will be deleted. (This includes archived teams.)" and "If you have a group that you no longer plan to use, but you want to retain its content, see Archive groups"

Retention-policies will probably prevent the content from being deleted, but won't let the users access it easily once it is moved to retention-storage?

There's no contradiction, the second statement does not take into consideration the group expiration policy. You can submit a PR/feedback to update the documentation.
