Copy Calendar Items

Steel Contributor

Hi all,

I was looking to remove our use of Public Folders. We have two calendars for two departments and I wanted to create a group for each Dept.

My problem is that I can't copy items from the public folder calendar to the Office 365 Group calendar. I get a message that I don't have permission. Is there anyway to get around this?

You can use some EWS-based code for that. There's also a copy experience in OWA, but I don't think it supports PF as source. And just to add that the Groups calendaring experience might present you with few challenges, so make sure you've tested it fits your needs first.

I thought we could add Office 365 Group calendars to the mobile Outlook app but we can't. Public Folder it is for a while so.
