I know you can add group functionality to existing SharePoint Online site that NEVER had the group functionality before. With that being said the group functionality deletes after 30 days and is unrecoverable but the SharePoint site stays for longer and you can recover the SharePoint data from Powershell. However the option to connect an O365 Group is not available since it was connected earlier. Is there a way to connect a new group to that site or do you have to create a new site/group and migrate the data?
