Applications need the ability to send a message to a channel. Here is one of a million real world examples:
- A long running batch process completes and users subscribed to a channel need to receive an alert when the process is complete.
This could be achieved using a Webhook connector but that requires manual configuration so pretty much defeats the purpose of using the Graph API to setup a team and a channel. It doesn't appear possible to create a Webhook connector using the Graph API.
