We are developing an APP for Android and iOS using Microsoft Graph API to list all inbox / folders emails and send emails. This functionality working fine.
Now we want to implement that whenever any new email received then user should get a notification on APP like same way other application example Gmail or Outlook.
I had word with Microsoft Graph developer support and as per them, they don't have any such option available right now. They suggested me to use change notification API but this will not work like push notification as each time change notification need to executed from APP in some time get update but it will increase database and resources of phones so not perfect solution.
So I would like to suggest here do develop such functionality to get directly push notification for new email on APP.
Looking for to hear from MS team on this advice.
