We are developing an Outlook add-in that should be able to work with multiple selected emails as documented here. While testing with Outlook on Mac, we found some problems making not possible to work with multi-selection. In particular, some folders, such as All Accounts, Saved Searches and On My Computer, don't support events specific to multi-select as it was stated in the reply to a GitHub issue I had raised. Could it be possible to either support multi-select events in those folders or just automatically unload the add-in when the user goes to those folders and don't allow them to start the add-in when they already are in those folders? ... Hello!   These are two features which we are extremely interested in. I've been asking in many Community Calls but I haven't had any ETAs yet, so hopefully posting here helps.   Please could we have a consistent method for Word, Excel and PowerPoint to save a file? Word and Excel have ‘context.document.save()’ and ‘context.workbook.save() but they lack similar options for behaviors (eg. skip the save dialogue). PowerPoint does not have context.presentation.save() yet. Please could we have an equivalent method for all three (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with similar options/behaviors? This is really needed for developers. The default width of the task pane in Office add-ins is quite small, making styling difficult when you want to display more content in it. At a 1366x768 resolution, for Excel desktop the width of the task pane is 320 pixels. There is currently no way to get a list of shared mailboxes or determine whether a User account is actually a shared mailbox. Ideally there would be a new top-level object -- eg., GET /sharedMailboxes (A members property of this new object would address another shortcoming of Graph -- the inability to get the members of a shared mailbox.) A shorter-term solution would be to have a flag on the user object indicating that it is a shared mailbox.  Context: Our app operates only on shared mailboxes (distributing mail to members and reporting on activity). Our onboarding process currently requires the use of a PowersShell script because that's the only way for us to determine whether a mailbox is a shared mailbox or a user mailbox. Excel for Windows has supported adding Shapes inside (not over) Charts for many years. Excel Online does not (if a Chart contains Shapes, they will not be displayed) Would it be possible to support this feature in Excel Online? For instance, in my company, we rely heavily on arrows to show CAGRs. The Shapes being inside the Chart makes it easy to move of Copy / Paste a chart with the arrows. Hello,  We have implemented Google Analytics 4 in our MS Add-in using Google Tag Manager. It works fine on DESKTOP Office apps. As soon as we load the add-in in desktop Excel for example, the requests to Google Analytics are triggered tracking user usage and custom events. However, on WEB Office web none of the requests related to Google Analytics are being triggered. There is nothing related to it in Network, not even blocked requests. Currently task panes are a fixed width by default. Users can manually increase the width but cannot reduce it. In addition neither users nor their organisations (customers) want to perform a manual action such as expand/reduce the width.   What is need is the ability to control the width for the following reasons: 1) the current width takes up too much screen real estate, especially for employees with small screens 2) users do not want to see the task pane with all info all the time, but do want it operating   Preferred action Ability to control the width through JS/Typescript   Desired scenario Our add-in pushed via corp. IT will exist with message open (most likely preview pane on when viewing the inbox). It is pinned. The add-in by default is slim in width, displaying basic info. On opening a message the add-in performs an action and makes an API request. The response will cause an action, it may maintain the slim width and will display updated basic info, or may expand to display further information. A pop-open style response - this is what every customer is requesting. The user will have the ability to expand at any time, but by default it is slim.   Alternatives 1) We have reviewed dialog windows, but this does not meet the requirement. It requires a user to perform an action each time, that a pinned task pane does not. Customers do not want to rely on their users to click each time.   2) VSTO looks to provide the ability to control width, but a) it is legacy and on its way out according to MS, b) we're limited in features such as azure auth/graph api which the add-in is currently using.   This is causing us substantial pain as our customers have this as a mandatory/critical request. ... With the current Office js API possibilities, to replace an image, we need to remove it and insert it again, which impacts previous z-index set by a user, as new object will always be uploaded on the top of the stack. Would it be possible to replace an image without removing it and inserting?   use case: User stacks few images on the top of one another, our add-in enables user to refresh an image to import newest data, however after refreshing bottom image, it will end up being the top one, covering the images that should be on the top. In order to determine the user who sent a shared mailbox message, we suggest adding a property of sent messages indicating the user who sent it as a delegate; e.g., message.delegateSender or message.actualSender. Our app reports on shared mailbox activity, including who is sending replies and new messages. Currently, since Graph does not give us access to shared mailbox message sender information, we are forced to do it via the addition of internet message headers with an Outlook add-in and (since the Sent Items message objects don't include the header we added) an Exchange rule that Bcc's outgoing mailbox messages back to the mailbox.     ...
