Currently we are createing AAD Groups and then after the fact add members or owners. We cannot in all cases do with with one graph call because of our consumers requirements.   It is a known issue that after you create a group or other AAD object you instantly get an objectId, but future calls to graph to modify that group might fail because you have no control over what node you are querying. The only way is to wait and poll excessively, and retry on 404 errors.   We need a way to address this. There are many options that would be satisfactory including but not limited to:   The ability to create a webhook that is fired upon full propogation The ability to request that a write to graph not return until all nodes are propogated to The ability to specify in an update request to try the operation on all nodes The ability to get some kind of transaction identifier on an object create that I could pass on the update to make sure that it goes to the same nodes A model where we request a modification to an object, get a transaction id, and then can later poll the transaction ids for a definitive inprogress/succeeded/failed status.   ... Looking to give the [Any Recipient] filter the same options as the [The Recipient] filter.   A specific example of something that is currently not possible: You want to redirect (to a mailbox, connector, etc) an entire email if any of the recipients are "outside of the organization". Said inversely, you want to redirect an entire email if any (one or more) of the recipients are not "inside the organization".   Right now, if you attempt to use [The Recipient] to do this, it will individually bypass the recipients that are "inside", but will apply the rule for those recipients that are "outside". This means that some recipients (Inside) actually still get the original email, while others (Outside) get redirected. I'm not saying this behavior is incorrect, it's just not the desired end result. We are talking about a filter that controls the entire email based on one or more recipients matching a rule (other than text/regex).    It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure this request existed in UserVoice with a significant amount of votes at one time; I can't seem to find it anywhere. As more users choose to set up Bookings, we're having trouble discerning which mailboxes are affiliated with a Bookings site. It takes extra time to log into Powershell, run get-mailbox, and check the if the RecipientTypeDetails attribute is set to SchedulingMailbox. I would love a global setting were we could choose to set a Bookings mailbox prepend string (eg. "bookings-"), such that when I create a new Bookings site called "Finance Department", its Bookings mailbox was named "Email address removed" by default. ... View more

To get free/busy information from users calendars (calendar: getSchedule - Microsoft Graph v1.0 | Microsoft Docs), the API permissions Calendars.Read or Calendars.ReadWrite are required. Both allow quite a lot of access to the users calendars. It would be great to have a more granular API permission just to read free/busy information. We'd like to see better note-taking and annotation tools across all apps on the iOS platform, but also better integration with Windows, Android, and macOS. Many enterprise customers use various tools like Adobe Acrobat, PDFExpert, GoodNotes, Notability, etc. for their workflows. Usually, these tools are used as annotation tools due to their very basic functionality in OneDrive, SharePoint and Office products. For simplicity, we will "only" deal with the iOS platform in the following. When using annotation tools in an enterprise context, companies usually need a way to prevent data loss. Unfortunately, very few vendors offer AppConfigs or Intune SDK-enabled apps. Therefore, it would be even better if Microsoft already offered appropriate options in the apps for the platform. Best case, a consistent experience, regardless of platform. For the user it would then be a seamless process and for ITSec no further action would be needed on the app side once M365 has been approved (and for iOS/Android MAM/APP has been enabled). Let's take a look at a typical, everyday process: - Documents that need to be signed, approved, or commented on are converted to PDFs or already exist as PDFs - They are uploaded to OneDrive, giving the employee or approving colleague/supervisor access to the documents - Annotations are made using iPads (with 2nd generation iPads Pro and Apple Pencils). - Everything is stored on OneDrive - In the past, an app was set up for this, but the annotation features were pretty frustrating there too, and it was an enterprise app, so it was always pretty much work to keep it running (and make it cool and secure) Well, to improve the situation, here's what we've found out so far and suggest: - Some time ago there was a Microsoft blog post, for better integration of Apple Files and Microsoft OneDrive / SharePoint. Apple said they haven't changed anything, but Microsoft said they are working on a new implementation for iOS 15 that affects Apple Files and OneDrive. iOS 16 came out - and it's still the case that the OneDrive content is visible, but not writable and sometimes the Files app says "read only mode" at the bottom (but rather rarely) - Inside files we can't open, read or interact with files from OneDrive, but we still see all content - Inside OneDrive, a PDF is always opened with the PDF viewer inside OneDrive, same with the Office app - resulting in an eraser, three silly pens (not worth calling pens) and a highlighter - In Office, if you open another app for Office content like Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, there's already the drawing tool, which offers some cool and usable pens - In PDFExpert or similar apps, the tools are "ok", but there is also a dynamic feature that gives a more natural writing feel (still not cool, but nicer) - In the Apple Files app, Notes app, or whatever, Apple's note pens come into play (available as Apple PencilKit as an SDK)-the coolest, the best, and the ones that no one ever has to learn how to use because they just work naturally, like we learned to do as kids  Having established the necessary context, let's conclude with three questions: - How can we solve the problem with Apple Files and View and Annotate? - How can we ensure that pens from the Office suite get into the OneDrive PDF view for a better annotation experience? - What can we do to consolidate pen capabilities across Apple and Microsoft? I'm working in Excel but the same should apply for all products where you can define custom add-in commands. When you create a custom add-in command in the ribbon, you are able to toggle it from enabled to disabled and back again using Office.Ribbon.RequestUpdate(). You cannot do the same when you define a command for the context menu. I need to be able to toggle the availability or enabled state of my add-in command(s) in the context menu. Current behavior VLSC versions are still using Internet Explorer to display Add-Ins Context Office 2016 still has extended support until 2025 so we want our Add-In to still support Office 2016. Supporting Internet Explorer is sometimes very tricky and many ES6 features can't be used at all or need to be polyfilled which means a lot of extra effort. Hi, as we are exploring our options to develop advanced PowerPoint add-in using JS, these missing API features as a showstopper for us.   Missing events: * Slide - selection changes (so was can track which slide is selected) * SlideShow - started, slide changed, slide build changed and ended (so we can provide enhanced experience while slide show is running)   Existing APIs: Calling context.presentation.slides.add() method returns void. We need this API to return the Slide ID so we can correctly identify which slide was added by this call.
