I'm developing an Office.js Excel addin and I would like to track client compatibility. There is not any way to inspect code to detect the maximum value of requirement set. There is no automated way to see what Req Sets are used by our code. Developers are responsible for checking the requirement set before using a particular method or property in the code of Office add-ins, but in our context is too much responsibility for junior developers. We need a list of tenants the current user is in. His home tenant and all his tenants where he is invited as a guest.   We know of the existence of the List tenants endpoint in the Azure management API, but that requires the `user_impersonation` scope on that endpoint. And that is WAY too much access just to list tenants.   We were told to create a feature request in this question   It would be nice if a (slimmed down version) endpoint could be created in the graph api, preferably with the `User.Read` or `profile` scope, that will just list all the tenants the user is a member of or a guest.   The use case is that we are building a multi tenant application and we want users to access the application in the context of the tenant they choose. Currently, Excel will permanently cache an Add-in's custom functions JSON metadata file. This happens when the Add-in is first added to Excel.   The JSON metadata file may be updated from time to time for various reasons. It could be as trivial as correcting a typo in a custom function's description. It could be as serious as adding a new custom function altogether. Regardless, Excel currently doesn't fetch the new JSON file.   The only ways to get Excel to fetch the new JSON file appear to be: (1) Submit a new XML manifest to AppSource with a new version number, even though the rest of the manifest are unchanged. This also contradicts the AppSource submission FAQ which says we don't have to resubmit if we make changes only to the web service. (2) Ask users to manually reinsert the Add-in from Office Store. (3) Ask users to manually clear the Office Cache.   All of the above seems unnecessarily complicated, when Excel could simply respect the HTTP Cache-Control headers returned by the server.   Incidentally, Excel already respects the HTTP Cache Control headers for other files, such as the custom functions HTML and JavaScript files. Currently there is no way to store custom settings in the manifest file of an Office Add-In. It would be great to be able to store some settings there and read them programmatically from the Add-In so that different environments can use different configurations without the need to compile different versions of the Add-In. Our use case is a three-tier test and rollout process (Dev -> Test -> Production). The Add-In uses web services to perform some tasks and we have dedicated environments for each of these steps. Unfortunately, the Office Add-In model does not "play nice" with this. When we test a new version of the Office Add-In, we have to compile three different versions of the same Add-In that only differs in the target URL of the web service. Afterwards we have to be careful during rollout so that each stage gets the correct version (and technically, the production version is untested until it is deployed, as it is not the exact same code as the dev and test version beforehand). It would be great, if we can store the web service URL in the manifest file and then read this value  when the Office Add-In starts. This is a request for an enhancement to the Recipient resource type. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/recipient?view=graph-rest-1.0 I am currently working on upgrading a service that uses EWS and expands known groups out into the individual recipients within that group, then performs an operation for each individual recipient. With an upcoming deprecation of EWS API, we want to switch all operations to the Graph API. If possible, I would like a property added to recipient that indicates whether it is an individual, or a distribution list (i.e. a group). If this data is missing, applications that have a two way integration with Microsoft have a looping problem.   For instance, let us say an app sets teams presence using setUserPreferred presence API whenever it's own state changes. When the web-hook from Teams comes in for the changes made, the app again changes it's own presence and sends setPresence to Teams which again triggers web-hook. This is a never ending loop rendering the change notifications unusable.   In this case, adding a `triggerredBy` field containing the clientId of the application that triggered it would let my application know if it should reject a web-hook since the web-hook was triggered by it's own action or it should be processed since the presence was changed on Teams application. ... Hi There, In the current version, we can get selected data in PowerPoint/Excel/Word using `Office.context.document.getSelectedDataAsync`. However, this method can only work for some specific types of data such as `Office.CoercionType`.   In Excel, `ShapeType` is a also important kind of data, I want to modify some selected shapes in slides. Maybe I missed some methods to get the selected shapes in Excel, I would be appreciated if you have any ideas about that.
