We're running a spellchecking app that analyzes messages content in Outlook and then shows mistakes to the user. Currently, we show the mistakes in the task pane, but it's not always easy for the user to get the precise location of the mistake.
On all other platforms we integrate with, we use the "select" API to highlight the text (this way, the user has a visual indicator, and the scroll is natively handled by the software); do you plan to offer such a feature (Word does already for example, the same way would be great)?
