Cannot find Asset Rule Management in Microsoft 365 Defender



I'm following this guide

for asset rule in Microsoft 365 Defender.


However, looking into my portal, I cannot find this setting under SettingsMicrosoft 365 Defender

What am I getting wrong?

It is just as if there is a setting I need to enable. Or something else i've missed.

try to enable the preview in Defender and see if this will make a difference


The preview feature is enabled, still no Asset Rule Management.

I don't know if it matters, but I have assigned two Microsoft Defender for Endpoint P2 licenses to two different users. Do I need any other license to use Asset Rule Management?

it's applied to MDE Plan 1 and Plan 2. if your issue persists, open a case with Microsoft so they can check your tenant in the backend. Also one more thing to try is to clear your browser cache and reopen your defender portal
Hi, in the past i have the same issues, i solved it by opening a Microsoft Ticket.
If you have MDE License P1 ore P2 or Defender for Business you must have this section.
Thanks, I've reached out to Microsoft asking them to reset my back end. I will return with information about the progress...
Yes i confirm, for my ticket microsoft says that refresh backend for my tenant.
