My custom Copilot GPT link does not work as intended.

Can anyone help me figure this out?  I think it must be on Microsoft's side and not user error.  I first thought the link to my custom created Copilot GPT was because the end user needed to sign into or create a Microsoft account login.  That is not the case.  The Link just sends people to the default Copilot GPT?  I have a Microsoft Copilot Pro subscription.  Thanks for the help.

I don't believe there is a way to create custom Copilot GPTs the same way we can create custom GPTs in ChatGPT+. Here's what Copilot provided when I asked:

There is. It’s not creating it that’s the issue. It’s sharing it and the link working. Get MS Copilot Pro

Its basically a regular copilot with information setup on how to behave and its sole purpose or scope of knowledge / purpose.

@dillonerwin Does your interface show "Pro", is your Custom GPT viewable on the top right? Mine shows the first of 4 of mine called "Ada" as per the screenshot. Always use copilot.microsoft.com rather than Bing search access etc. They have very different functionality particularly with Custom Copilot GPT's. If you access your custom GPT from anywhere other than copilot.microsoft.com it loses a lot of personal functionality and reverts to a standard Copilot just with a different name.

I have the same problem. I shared my GPT and users are telling me the link just takes them to the general Copilot landing page, but when I test it, I see my GPT (even when I log into a different account)

I don't think this is the issue--the direct link to the GPT is a Copilot link. We're supposed to be able to share the GPT with other users through a public link.

Hello everyone. Please share your GPT link from Bing.com - access Copilot through Bing.com and then share your Copilot GPT. Here is my example: https://sl.bing.net/dLLdLhBLoZg
Sharing it through Bing should work, as the team is currently resolving this issue. Creating a Copilot GPT is exclusive to Copilot Pro users; however, those with a free Copilot account can access your GPT if you share a link through Copilot via bing.com.

• To publish your Copilot GPT, click Publish in the upper right corner. Choose Only me, or Everyone with a link, and then choose Confirm. If you intend to share your Copilot GPT, make sure to select Everyone with a link, and copy the link. Anyone who has that link can view and use your Copilot GPT.
• After your Copilot GPT is published, select View Copilot GPT to open and use it.
• If you set the publish setting of your custom Copilot GPT to “Everyone with a link,” anyone with the link can access it, regardless of whether they have a Copilot Pro subscription or not. The “Everyone with a link” option allows public access to your Copilot GPT without any restrictions. 😊

@Milorad your GPT also fails  to provide an answer unless I am logged in to my Copilot pro account - otherwise it shows an error - conversation got interrupted please try again...

@Bbb_hhh Thank you for your reply. I have just tested the free account; it works normally. You need to be logged in order to use GPTs, whether with a free or pro account. Please double check if you logged on with Free account. Check in other browser or incognito tab.
